WELCOME TO THE BEDFORD PARK

Situated northwest of Lawrence Park and southwest of Hoggs Hollow. Bedford Park is bounded to the north by Wilson Avenue, Yonge Street to the East, Bathurst to the west and Lawrence Avenue to the south. What started as a small farming hamlet at the crossroads of Yonge and Lawrence soon became a popular stopover for farmers travelling back and forth to markets in Toronto. Fast forward a hundred years or so, and today it’s well-loved by affluent families seeking quiet, safe streets, mature trees, A-grade schools and a manageable commute downtown.

Perfect for young and growing families and professionals.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Tree-lined streets, child-friendly spaces, and easy access to the city’s efficient transit system.

THE LIFESTYLE

This is a place that transports you far away from the city. You’ll be so transformed by the beauty of this quiet, lush neighbourhood you won’t miss it one bit.  Bedford Park is a family-centric uptown neighbourhood with a reputation as a happening, tight kit community. Living here means you are minutes away from Yonge Street, which is chock-a-block with culture, food and fun.  It has kid-friendly spaces in abundance and is minutes away from several high-caliber public and private schools. Downtown is relatively accessible with buses running along Avenue, Lawrence, and Yonge and the Lawrence subway station connects to the Yonge Line.

THE MARKET

The neighbourhood offers a solid mix of detached and semi-detached homes built mostly in 1920s, 30s and 40s. The local style skews Tudor, Georgian, and Edwardian styles.  A portion of Bedford Park’s homes were torn down and now new build, custom homes proliferate the neighbourhood.
